God, Family and Summer Reading

I enjoyed a nice summer Sunday with family. I got up early and walked my Bailey. After a quick shower we went to Mass at St. Martin's. When we arrived home, Mom, Maureen and Sean arrived. Jeannette and Emilia pulled up a few minutes later. We had a nice lunch of Fishkill Provisions sausages on the grill. While the girls chatted, Sean and I watched the Mets and the World Cup final.

The Mets won handily 9-1, but Argentina lost in OT to Germany.... oh well.

A good read so far.

I will spend the rest of my evening reading Drums along the Mohawk. Summer is the perfect time to catch up on your reading and this is a historical novel I've been wanting to dig into.
